- High sweetening power; gives pure sweet flavour to food; reference in sweetness as flavour.
- Obtained from sugar beet or sugar cane.
- Granulated sugar standard SU is white sugar (cat.2) in accordance with guideline 2001/111/EC.
- Several additional functional properties for food.
