Under the name Comprima® Suiker Unie produces a fine instant compressed sugar made from sugar and glucose syrup. Comprima is sweet, white and “granular”, easy to press and process into tablets and it dissolves quickly.
Comprima is produced by mixing icing sugar granules with glucose syrup. The glucose syrup sticks the icing sugar particles together while enclosing air. The air makes the powder easy to press because less force is required to press the powder into a tablet. |
