Sugar beet is 100% circular

Sugar is a natural additive-free product that is extracted from sugar beet. Sugar beet contains much more than just sugar. We use all parts of the sugar beet in order to maximise its value and eliminate waste. The beet pulp remaining at the end of the sugar production process, for example, is sold as animal feed, the soil attaching to the beet is used to build roads and dykes, molasses are used to make fermentation and yeast products, biomass digesters turn beet tops and tails into green gas that our vehicles drive on, and farmers use the digestate that remains after the gas is produced as a fertiliser on their fields.

Every part of the sugar beet is used, so there is no waste.
